From ANC to Safe Delivery: Closing the Continuity Gap at Kabombeh
From January through August 2026, 509 pregnant women registered for antenatal care at Kabombeh Community Health Post, while 118 facility-based deliveries were recorded there during the same period. TMF's $13,400 integrated intervention addresses three connected barriers across the maternal-health journey.

The counts cover the same reporting period but are not a one-to-one cohort comparison. They should not be read as an attrition rate.
A documented continuity challenge
From January through August 2026, 509 pregnant women registered for antenatal care at Kabombeh Community Health Post, while 118 facility-based deliveries were recorded at Kabombeh during the same reporting period.
These figures are not a matched cohort. Some ANC registrants may not yet have reached delivery during the reporting period, and some may have delivered elsewhere. Together, the figures point to an important continuity challenge between engagement during pregnancy and delivery at the health post.
TMF's integrated intervention connects nutrition and education, delivery and postnatal infrastructure, and practical safe-motherhood support around one maternal-care journey.
- Strengthen nutrition education, peer support, and continued ANC engagement
- Expand delivery capacity and create a dedicated postnatal recovery room
- Upgrade equipment for delivery and postnatal care
- Provide practical Safe Motherhood Birthing Buckets for eligible mothers
Three connected investments. One continuum of care.
